3D (Three domain) Secure Dynamic is a global programme/standard developed for carrying out safe online transactions.

The programme was developed to enable each cardholder to confirm the authenticity of his/her bank card when performing transactions to make online purchases. International payment systems—MasterCard and Visa International—have developed their safe online purchases systems based on 3D Secure models.

However, please keep in mind that the availability of the 3D Secure authentication option depends on the merchant’s website. If the merchant’s website supports this option, then the client will be automatically required to carry out the authentication procedure using the 3D Secure platform.

3D Secure Dynamic

  • Choose the product or service you wish to purchase and click on the purchase link.
  • Enter the required details (including card number) and after pressing the ‘internet shop’ purchase confirmation button, you will receive an SMS text in the mobile phone number registered with the Bank containing a 6-digit code.
  • A new page will be opened for this additional step, and you will be required to enter the 3D Secure code you received via SMS.
  • After you enter the code, it will be verified by the authentication systems; depending on the outcome, your transaction will be either granted or rejected.
  • Due to security reasons, your code will be valid for only 3 minutes, after which it will expire. To receive a new code, you need to press “Request new code/resend code” or reinitiate your transaction all over again.
  • The Merchant will send a request to the Bank concerning the funds available in your account and your card validity.
  • If you have sufficient funds in your account, the bank will approve the transaction.
