Guarantee Fund with the EIF

The European Investment Fund (EIF) and ProCredit Bank Kosovo have signed a guarantee agreement to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in Kosovo, within the framework of the Enterprise Development and Innovation Program in Western Balkans (WB, EDIF).

Benefits to businesses from this agreement:

ProCredit Bank loans offered to entrepreneurs under this agreement will be issued under preferential conditions and maturity term on May 31, 2023. Loans will be issued for working capital and investments, as well as to businesses that fulfill the bank's ethical, social and environmental standards. Companies may benefit better conditions through installment loans, credit lines, overdraft, etc.

Who can apply for the guarantee fund?

Micro, small and medium enterprises that help in the economic development of the country, with particular emphasis on production, trade and services sectors' enterprises, excluding those that operate in:

  • Production of firearms and ammunitions
  • Equipment that restrict human rights
  • Games of chance
  • Production of tobacco
  • Speculation in real estate

What can the guarantee fund be used for?

to finance development investments in micro, small and medium enterprises, i.e.:

  • Working capital with 12-36 month maturity term
  • Acquisition of fixed assets with maturity term on May 31, 2023.
