For two decades, your bank, ProCredit, and the international documentary and short film festival, DokuFest, have brought to life an extraordinary celebration of culture, elevating the arts to the highest level. Organized in the heart of a city of culture and history, where every street and cobblestone alley have a story to tell, this 20-year anniversary promised entertainment, surprises, and above all, breathtaking films!
All clients who purchased tickets using a ProCredit Bank card received a 50% reimbursement on their ticket purchase. Those who opened an account during the festival were given 10 free tickets, enough for all their friends!
This year’s DokuFest theme was "New Order," exploring the dynamic changes in politics, technology, economy, and culture that are making a new world order emerge. Such concept sparks very important discussions about our collective future and opens the way for dealing with themes which, for ProCredit Bank, constitute the essence of its mission as an institution oriented towards development.
In harmony with the theme and in celebration of nature, ProCredit Bank chose the butterfly as the symbol for this edition. To commemorate this special jubilee, a unique photo booth shaped like a butterfly was placed near the antique stone bridge in Prizren, beautifying the city throughout the festival’s nine days. This corner, featuring the beautiful – a beautiful creature of nature – also symbolized the power of change, reflecting the bank’s tireless commitment to igniting positive transformation in Kosovo’s environment.
This highlights the symbiosis created through a collaboration of such a calibre, the fruition of which is a young, well-informed generation that faces not only the environmental pollution but also a world in constant change.
In this 20th anniversary, being named a founding sponsor of DokuFest, ProCredit Bank continues to contribute to bringing to the global attention the rich cultural heritage and living art scene of Kosovo. This exposure not only has placed the country on the regional cultural map but also provides a platform for the local artists to display their works on an international stage.
Additionally, DokuFest attracts thousands of visitors every year, notably increasing the circulation of local businesses and tourism. Thanks to such collaboration with ProCredit, the festival enjoys a reputation for easy and simple payments.
Is there a more splendid demonstration how businesses and cultural organisations may work together for the common good? By supporting one another and integrating such concepts in social youth activities, not only art and culture get promoted, but that also raises the awareness of the public about the importance of protecting the environment and sustainability.
As ProCredit Bank and DokuFest celebrate this 20-year partnership, the future looks bright!
