Now, these initiatives culminate in the shared goal of the ProCredit Group to achieve Net Zero by 2050. Net Zero aims to balance the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere. To achieve this goal, the group has also developed concrete action strategy, which ProCredit Bank in Kosovo follows with great precision.

In full alignment with this strategy, and with the Paris Agreement that aims to curb climate change and global warming, ProCredit Bank has taken significant steps detailed in the 2023 Impact Report towards achieving Net Zero. As part of this strategy, “The Path to Net Zero” training has also been launched for all bank staff. This training aims to continuously raise awareness about environmental protection.

The training is a continuation of many other initiatives and goes beyond a typical training session. It aims to educate employees on how their daily activities impact the environment and how small changes can contribute to a cleaner future.

Through various activities such as games and group work, “The Path to Net Zero” training clearly demonstrates, in practice, how the principles of achieving net-zero emissions improve everyone’s lives and also contribute to the bank’s overall sustainability objectives
