These General Rules and Conditions on the use of ProPay Digital Wallet apply to all clients who use the electronic payment system ProPay Digital Wallet
Under these Conditions, the terms, “we”, “us”, “ours”, “ProCredit”, “Bank” shall all mean ProCredit Bank J.S.C, whereas the terms “Client”, “you”, “yours” shall mean the client using the ProPay Digital Wallet services, in compliance with conditions set out under this agreement.
ProPay “Digital Wallet” (hereinafter “Digital Wallet”) shall mean a smartphone, tablet and other mobile device’s software, operational within ProCredit’s “M-banking” mobile application, through which you can establish an additional electronic tool for prompt, contactless, and safe payment all POS terminals that support near-distance contactless transaction technology, known as NFC (Near Field Communication).
Use of “Digital Wallet”
To use the “Digital Wallet” you must download the Bank’s “M-Banking” application from the Google Play Store into your mobile device, or if you have already downloaded it, you must update your app to the latest version that allows you to use “Digital Wallet”.
Once you have downloaded/updated the “M-banking” application, to execute transactions from your ProCredit bank account through “Digital Wallet”, you must activate “Digital Wallet” by assigning a PIN code to your Digital Wallet,
You will apply the PIN Code when using the “Digital Wallet” and for authenticating transactions that you perform from your bank card registered in the “Digital Wallet’.
Following the activation of ProPay Digital Wallet, you must register your card or bank cards, MasterCard, into the Digital Wallet under the conditions for use set out in this Agreement, and in this process you are authenticated by a security code, which you will receive from the Bank via SMS to your phone number registered with the bank.
Internet access is needed for downloading the mobile application and for configuration of the Digital Wallet, whereas transactions can be performed off-line.
The Digital Wallet will be equipped with an advanced authentication method known as CDCVM (Consumer Device Cardholder Verification Method), which allows authentication of transactions from the Digital Wallet always and for all types of amounts from your mobile device, i.e. cell-phone, without having to put the PIN Code in the POS terminal or other purchase devices.
Applicable transaction authentication method from the Digital Wallet, depending on amounts of the transactions, are provided below:
Automatic Authentication – you will perform the transaction by simply having your phone unlocked and swiping close to the POS terminal device. However, from time to time you may be asked to put a PIN or biometric authentication through fingerprints, even for small payments.
Authentication via PIN in your mobile phone – to perform the transaction, you must put the PIN of your mobile phone, and once your mobile is unlocked, you must swipe it close to the POS terminal.
Authentication via PIN code of Digital Wallet –to perform your transaction you must have your mobile phone unlocked and swipe it close to the POS terminal device, and depending from the amount of the transaction, it will require authentication via the PIN code of the Wallet. If based on the amount of the transaction a PIN authentication is required, you must then open the Bank’s mobile application, type in the PIN of the Digital Wallet, and then swipe your mobile phone over the POS terminal.
Biometric authentication - To perform a transaction, all you need is to have your mobile phone unlocked and swipe it close to the POS terminal device, where fingerprint authentication will be required depending on the transaction amount. If biometric authentication is required based on the transaction amount, you must log on to the Bank's mobile application, log on to the Digital Wallet using your fingerprint and then pass your mobile phone close to the POS terminal device.
The authentication methods mentioned above should be used depending on the transaction amount as set forth in the applicable Bank's pricelist.
All authentication methods mentioned above (Article 2, paragraph 2,7, a, b, c, d) will be functional and you may decide through the Digital wallet PIN which authentication method to use when making transactions from your card through the Digital Wallet.
Client’s responsibilities and rights
You must at all times keep your mobile device secure and protected with anti-virus and other security systems. You need to make sure that you have the latest updated version of the operating system and that the device is not rooted in terms of security.
You must keep your passwords and all details and security devices confidential from third parties and exercise due care in relation thereto in order to prevent unauthorized use;
If you decide not to use your mobile device anymore, you must deactivate the Digital Wallet in advance and delete the mobile banking application from your mobile device.
If you believe that your mobile device has been lost, destroyed, stolen or a transaction has been carried out through the Digital Wallet without your consent, or the PIN or Digital Wallet security data have been compromised, you must immediately report to the Contact Centre via email Kos.customerservice@procredit-group.com, or in one of our branches.
If you do NOT report to us, you will be held liable and be obliged to pay for ALL transactions carried out with your card through the Digital Wallet, even if the loss, theft, cloning, compromise or failure to report was not due to your fault or you were not aware of the problem.
You are responsible for any transaction made through the Digital Wallet linked to your bank card and any misuse of your mobile device and of the Digital Wallet by unauthorized persons will remain exclusively your responsibility, if you have not reported it to the Contact Centre.
You have the right to delete your bank card from the Digital Wallet and deactivate the Digital Wallet at any time.
You can register more than one bank card in the Digital Wallet, in which case the first card registered in the Digital Wallet will be primary, but you will be able to select any of your cards as primary.
Miscellaneous
The Bank reserves the right to amend/supplement these conditions from time to time. In any such case you shall be notified one month in advance via SMS
The Bank shall not be held liable for damages arising from reasons beyond its control, which the Bank has not been able to prevent or avoid, such as failure of telecommunications infrastructure.
The Bank shall not be responsible for the operation of your mobile device or application as it is a service provided by third parties.
This Agreement is also governed by the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement for the issuance of your bank card, the E-banking Agreement (Including the M-Banking mobile application), ProCredit Bank’s General Terms and Conditions for Businesses and Consumers (natural persons) depending on whether the client is a business or a natural person respectively, and the Bank’s pricelist.
